Michael Cleveland Mcmillan

Hortense – Michael Cleveland McMillan, 56, of Hortense passed away Sunday (July 4, 2021) at his residence from a brief illness.
Born in Waycross, GA his parents were George McMillan and Carol Hendrix Perez. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Crew; and 2 sisters, Debbie Bricker and Georgeann Laguire.
Michael was of the Christian faith and attended Atkinson Church of God of Prophecy and was self-employed as a carpenter. He loved fishing, bowling, NASCAR racing, building things, helping people, and he loved his kids and grandkids.
Survivors include 3 sons, Michael McMillian (fiancé Crystal Garmon) of Knob Lick, KY., Zachary Smith McMillan and Tristan Smith McMillan both of Hortense; 4 daughters, Tiffany McMillan of Hortense, Tina McMillan (fiancé Anthonie Lattany) of Nahunta, Tabatha McMillan (Aaron Burgin) of Hardyville, KY, and Kaylee McMillan of Hortense; 13 grandchildren; 2 brothers, David Hendrix and George McMillan both of Waycross; 4 sisters, Cindy Hendrix of Blackshear, Beth Hill and Susan Brady both of FL, and Ella Hewitt of Waycross. Also several other relatives and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be held Friday afternoon (July 9, 2021) at 3PM at Bachlott Cemetery with Bishop Raymond Willis officiating. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service starting at 2:30PM at Bachlott Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be William Underwood, Michael McMillan, Tristan McMillan, William Lane, Zachary Smith McMillan and Cole Winn.
Due to the COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing, also face mask are highly recommended at the service. Anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
