Michael Robert Cribb

Hortense- Michael Robert Cribs, 54, of Hortense passed away Thursday evening (August 11, 2016) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after a brief illness.

Born in St. Mary’s, GA his parents were Elmer and Minnie Belle Taylor Cribs, Jr. He is also preceded in death by a son, Michael Cribbs, Jr.

Michael was a mechanic and loved hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Cribbs of Brunswick; a son and daughter-in-law, Frank Eugene & Jessica Cribbs of Brunswick; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Holly Sweat of Brunswick and Penny & William Spradley of FL; 10 grandchildren, Ethan Cribbs, Jeremy Cribbs, Dalton Sweat, Katlyn Sweat, Phillip Varnadore, Kristien Spradley, Kimberly Spradley, Laura Spradley, William Spradley, and Payton Spradley; brother and sister-in-law, Warren & Helen Cribbs of Hortense; 2 sisters, Patricia Rooks of Woodbine and Gail Cribbs of St. Mary’s; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Monday morning (August 15, 2016) from 10am-11am at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Monday morning (August 15, 2016) at 11am at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. William Grimes officiating.
