Mildred 'Millie' Esser Rhoden

Mrs. Mildred "Millie" Louise Esser Rhoden,67, of Nahunta, died peacefully late Saturday evening (Apr. 3, 2010) in the Hospice of The Golden Isles in Brunswick after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Paterson, New Jersey she was the daughter of Hubert Peter and Mildred Cecelia Messaros Esser. Millie was retired from The Chubb Insurance in Atlanta where she worked for many years. Survived by her husband, Randy Eugene Rhoden, of Nahunta, a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Doug DeDea, of Alta Loma, California, 2-sons, Richard L. Thomas, of Great Falls, Montana and Paul G. Thomas, of Raleigh, North Carolina, a Grandchild, Kelsey M. DeDea, of Alta Loma, California, her Mother-in-law, Dot Allbritton, of St. George, and a Sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Ron Stephenson, of Sussex, New Jersey, 2-Brothers and sisters-in-law, Hubert P. and Kathy Esser, of Roselle Park, New Jersey and Paul and Patti Esser, of Pleasanton, California, also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be at the Frye Funeral Home Thursday evening starting at 6 P.M. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Florey officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery in Hickox. Pallbearers are Paul and Richard Thomas, Charles Chancey, Wesley and David Allbritton, Rob Gillis, Mikel Ray Johns and Lamar Crews.
