Mildred Parse Moody

Nahunta – Mrs. Mildred Bohannon Parse Moody, 76, of Nahunta passed away Sunday ( September 4, 2022) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Waycross, Ga. her parents were Willie Lavell Bohannon and Julia Bell Jones Bohannon. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Moody; a sister and brother-in-law, Donna Causey and John Causey.

Mildred was a cashier for Flash Foods and attended the Who So Ever Church. She loved watching TV, working in her flowers, visiting with her family and raising her children and grandson the best way she saw fit. She loved her family dearly. Mildred was a member of the alcoholic anonymous and had over 30 years of sobriety.

Survivors include a son, Gary Michael Parse, Jr. of Nahunta; a daughter, Leslie Ann Parse Simpson of Nahunta; a grandson/child, Anthony Joseph Parse of Nahunta; 3 great grandchildren Lillian Grace Parse, Allison Mae Parse, and Emily Faith Parse; 2 brothers, Otis Bohannon and Teagle Bohannon both of Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening (September 13, 2022) from 6pm -8pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
