Mildred Virginia Gay

Nahunta- Ms. Mildred Virginia Gay,83,of Nahunta died late Friday night in The Satilla Regional Medical Center in Waycross after an extended illness. Born in Springvale, Georgia her parents were Dewey Lee Gay and Elma Gill Gay. She had attended Andrew College and taught the 4th grade and also typing classes at The Clydeville Elementary School in Valdosta, Georgia before becoming disable. And was of the Methodist faith. Preceded in death by her parents and 2-brothers, Edward Gay and Elmer Lee Gay. Survived by her beloved sister and a brother-in-law, Betty Gay Morgan and Gerald, of Raybon, also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Sunday evening at the funeral home from 6P.M. until. A funeral service will be held Monday morning (May 16, 2011) at 11 A.M. from the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta with Rev. Jason Marden officiating. Burial will follow in the Smyrna Cemetery in Lulaton. Pallbearers will be Steve, Matt, Michael and Daniel Morgan, Tommy McDade, Ronnie Sharpe and Eric Dixon.
