Minnie Isabelle Drury Freeman

Brunswick- Minnie Isabelle Drury Freeman, 87, of Brunswick died early Thursday morning (September 29, 2011) at Southeast Georgia Health System after an extended illness. Born in Waynesville, GA her parents were George Preston and Janie Warner Drury. Also she is preceded in death by her husband, George Willie Freeman; a son George Freeman, Jr.; a daughter, Maxine Anderson; 3 brothers, Wesley Drury, George Drury and Calvin Drury; and 2 sisters, Carrie Drawdy and Mary Manning. Minnie was a homemaker and attended Trinity Nazarene Church. She also enjoyed reading. Survivors include 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Billy & Duane Freeman, Bobby & Jo Anne Freeman, Sabard Freeman and Ricky & Jenny Freeman all of Brunswick; a daughter, Lou Ann Brogdon of Brunswick; 2-Sisters, Jeanette Nail Clark and Claudia Jones, both of Brunswick,12-grandchildren, numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren, also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Saturday evening (October 1, 2011) from 6-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon (October 2, 2011) at 2PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Hinton Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Whittaker Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Drury, Wilmer Drury, Eric Freeman, Cecil Drury, Gary Nail and Chip Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff at Sears Manor and Dr. Lawson.
