Myra "Eloise" Hulett

Myra “Eloise” Terrell Hulett (December 6, 1928- June 11, 2023) 

Myra Eloise Terrell Hulett 94, of Nahunta Georgia entered the streets of gold to be with her loving family on June 11, 2023. Mrs. Hulett was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Preston Terrell Sr. (Bertha Williams). She was also proceeded in death by her loving husband Sidney “Sid " Hulett Jr. of 51 years. Also, two brothers Phillip Preston Terrell Jr. (Katie) and Thomas Adair Terrell (Faye), a niece Lynn Terrell and a nephew Dink Terrell. 

Eloise is survived by two daughters Dale Hendrix (Don) of Hickox, Georgia and Gina Hulett (Stanley Dowling) of Nahunta, Georgia. Three grandchildren Darrell Hendrix (Sandra) of Charleston, SC, Danette Hendrix of Hickox, Georgia and Clayre Tillman (Grant) of Atkinson, Georgia and one great grandchild Triton Tillman of Atkinson, Georgia. A special caregiver Deloise Tootle of Nahunta, Georgia, and several nieces. 

The family will receive family and friends at Nahunta Methodist Church on Tuesday June 13, 2023, one hour before a celebration of life service at 11:00am. The service will be held with Bro. David Farrior, Bishop Raymond Willis and a heartfelt eulogy will be shared by her great niece Stephanie Yawn. The internment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery 5000 Brunswick Hwy Waycross, Georgia 30503. 

Active pallbearers serving will be Clay Rhoden, Mitchell Hendrix, Matt Brooker, Charles Dean, Houston Dowling, and Steven Yawn 

Mrs. Eloise worked as the City Clerk of Nahunta for 20+ years. She was a member of Nahunta Methodist Church and United Women of Faith which she enjoyed. Spending time with her family was her greatest joy, she also loved cooking, bird watching, The Braves, the color Red and she would stop anywhere to pick a buttercup or a violet. She will be missed by her family. Those who knew her shared a special bond.
