Nellie McDaniel Watts, 92 of Nahunta, Ga died Friday night at BayView Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. Born in Harris Co, GA, her parents were Olin Toombs and Mary Dunn McDaniel. She is also. Preceded in death by her husband Joseph Earl Watts, Sr., a sister, Delna Spinks She worked as a Warper operator in a Textile Mills and was a 25 years club member of Calloway Mills of Manchester, GA. She is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-law, Joseph Earl, Jr. and Linda Watts of Round Lake, IL, a Daughter and Son-in-law, Emily and Robert R. Armstrong of Akin, S.C.; 4 Grandchildren and spouses, Preston Earl Watts of Birmingham, AL, Shannon and William Sweetnam of Highland Park, IL, Sharan and Tony Bondhus of College Park, GA and Robert R., Jr. and Karen Armstrong of Pittsburg, PA; 8 Great Grandchildren; 1 Sister, Nan Huling of Nahunta, GA and ; a Brother and Sister-in-law, Brooks and Jeanne McDaniels of Woodland, GA; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Frye Funeral Home (formerly Chambless-Frye), Nahunta. Funeral services will be Wednesday morning (Mar.11, 2009) at 10 a.m. from the Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. R.C. Mathis officiating. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday (Mar. 14,2009) at 1:00 P.M. from the Saint James United Methodist Church in Manchester, GA. Internment will be at a later date in Memory Gardens, Manchester, GA. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.fryefh.com
