Noah Phillip Warner, 83, of Atkinson, GA died Sunday afternoon (May 2, 2010) at Satilla Medical Center following an extended illness. Born in Atkinson, GA, his parents were Lewis Phillip Warner and Sarah Lettie Keene Warner. He is also, preceded in death by his, wife of 61 years, Juanita Hickox Warner and a son, Nathion Warner. He worked as a Welder for CSX Railroad for 40 ½ years. He was a member of King Memorial Baptist Church and was a Mason. He loved everybody and enjoyed farming, fishing and taking care of his animals. He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Gertude and George Lee of Hickox; special sister-in-law, Faye Warner Benfield, Waynesville; 6 Sisters-in-law and 2 brothers-in-law, Myrtle and Tim Hickox of Hoboken; Rosie Solomon and Nora Bell Graves; Hilda and Ron Belanger of Atkinson; DeLon Warner of Nahunta and Delores Welch of Hortense; Several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening starting 6 p.m. at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday morning (May 5, 2010) at King Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Yawn and Rev. Wayne Higginbotham officiating. Burial will follow in the Smyrna Cemetery in the family plot with Masonic rites. Pallbearers will be Glen Warner, Anthony Lee, Jason Lee, Phillip Lyons, William Warner and Greg Humbers. Honorary pallbearers will be Staff of BayView Nursing Home, Waycross Dialysis, Bo and Mary Hendricks, Okefenokee EMS and Special friend, Daphne Vann.
