Norma Louise Jones

Nahunta-Norma Louise Lee Jones, 83 of Nahunta, passed away Tuesday (April 9, 2013) at her residence following an extended illness. Born in Springfield, OH., her parents were Edward C. and Lona Barnett Lee. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Jones; a sister, Mary Jane Christy; a brother, Earl Lee; and a very special friend, Louise Wainright. Norma was a retired L.P.N. from Hilliard Manor Life Center. She was a member of Riverside Chapel Baptist Church, and she enjoyed quilting, crocheting, reading, mowing, and watching NCIS. She loved her family and her church. Survivors include 4 children and their spouses, Patricia Jones Hanson (Bobby), of Winter Park, FL, Richard A. Jones (Kay), of Nahunta, Sue Braswell (Steve), of Nahunta, and David L. Jones(Kristy), of Hickox; 8-grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Eddie Lee(Mary), of Indianapolis, Indiana and Kevin Lee, of Texas. Also several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday (April 13, 2013) at 4:30 PM, at Riverside Chapel Baptist Church, with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.
