Norman 'Junior' Isaac Wilson, Jr.

Nahunta – Norman “Junior” Isaac Wilson, Jr., 75, of Nahunta passed away Tuesday evening (July 7, 2020) at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Nahunta, GA his parents were Norman Isaac Wilson Sr. and Josie Mae Lewis Wilson. He is also preceded in death by a son, Howard Wayne Wilson; 4 sisters, Evelyn Shuman, Dorothy Wilson, Helen Marie Spratlin and Diane Ivey; and 3 brothers, Robert Wilson, Jerry Wilson and James B. Wilson.

Norman was a boilermaker and of the Christian faith. He loved telling stories and jokes and going fishing, hunting , and most of all spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Freida June Wilson of Nahunta; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Lynn Wilson of Waynesville,and Carl & Janet Wilson of Nahunta; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Vanessa Wilson and Lori Ann & Allan McGill all of Nahunta; 5 grandchildren, Kricket Carter, Cody McGill, Kayla Wilson, Hailey McGill and Remington Wilson; 6 great grandchildren, Lexi Jane Carter, Luke Carter, Nolan Lambert, Lydia Todd, Ryder Arrington, and Annabelle McGill; a sister, Ruby Thomas of Nahunta; a nephew, Matthew McCloud of Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. And a host of friends.

The family will have a private service at a later date.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
