Brunswick-Odessa Mae Jacobs Lane, 82 of Brunswick passed away Friday morning (February 22, 2013) at Gracemore Nursing Home in Brunswick, GA. Born in Hortense, GA.Her parents were Andrew and Daisy Ammons Jacobs. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Lane; several brothers and a sister. Odessa was a housewife, and was of the Church of God Faith. She loved sewing and crocheting. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Milton Lane, of Brunswick; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Milton & Eva Lane, of Brunswick, Jerry & Janice Lane, of Waynesville; daughter and son-in-law, Windy & Allen Sapp, of Brunswick; 6 grandchildren, Cali Mae Lane, Aaron Sapp, Jerry Lane, Jr., Sherry Lane, Lenny Foltzer, Angel Hiott; and 8 great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Junior & Athelene Jacobs, of Hortense; 2 sisters, Geraldine Booth, of Jacksonville, FL., and Mary Phillips, of St. Petersburg, FL. Visitation will be held Saturday evening (February 23, 2013) at 6 PM, at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday (February 24, 2013) at 2 PM, at Atkinson Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Raymond Drury and Rev. R.C. Mathis officiating. Pallbearers will be David Davis, Billy Joe Davis, Buck Davis, Mark Jacobs, Steve Lane and Andy Jacobs. Burial will follow in Lane Cemetery. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
