Olan Mauney

Brunswick-Olan Terry Mauney, 51 of Brunswick, passed away Thursday (March 30, 2017) at his residence following and extended illness.

Born in Jesup, Ga., his parents are Melvin Jean Wilson Mauney, of Brunswick and the late Edward Clay Mauney. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Chuck Mauney.

He was of the Church of God faith. Olan was the owner and operator of T & M Painting. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping with family, and gardening.

Survivors include his mother, Melvin Mauney, of Brunswick; 1 son and a daughter-in-law, Jonathan Mauney (Jada), of Hortense; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Jessica Crooms (Matthew), Rene Mauney (Jason Bishop), both of Brunswick; 5 grandchildren, Ethan Mauney, Kaydence Mauney, Elliott Mauney, Lindsey Crooms, and Cason Bishop; 2 sisters and their spouses, Donna Bohem (Greg), and Sally Johnson (Johnny), both of Brunswick. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held on April 8, 2017 at Trinity Nazarene Church, Hortense, Ga. at 11:00 AM.
