Hortense- Pamela Harper Mann, 66 of Hortense, passed away Sunday (November 10, 2019) at Memorial Satilla Health following an extended illness.
Born in Jesup, GA., her parents were Horace “Bub” Harper and Doris “Dot” Lewis Harper. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Pete Lewis.
Pam was a member of Raybon Church of God of Prophecy and worked many years as a Paraprofessional for the Brantley County School System. She enjoyed traveling, going to the Senior Center and loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Katina Nixon (Mike), of Hortense, Cindy Strickland (David), of Nahunta; 3 grandchildren, Asley Strickland, Ava Strickland, and Kylee Nixon; nieces and nephew, Karen Lewis, of Nahunta, Debbie Wint, of Bois Blanc Island, MI, Carrie Abour, High Point, North Carolina, and Greg Lewis, of Lexington, SC. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday (November 15, 2019) at 2PM at Raybon Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Paul Rhoden officiating. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
