Patricia "Pat" Ann Dinkins

Nahunta – Patricia Ann Dinkins, 82, of Nahunta, GA passed away on December 14, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. A native of Washington D.C., she was born on January 4th, 1939, to the late Norman Clifton Thompson and Cecile Haney Thompson. As a young woman, she met the love of her life and husband of 50 years, Robert Earl Dinkins. The young couple eventually settled in Folkston, GA, where they raised 6 children together. In recent years, she resided in Nahunta, GA under the care of her eldest daughter, Diana.
As a wife and mother, Pat took great pride in caring for her family and home. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed working outdoors and listening to gospel music in her free time. She was a lifelong Baptist and loved to attend church and study the Bible. Her favorite activities included watching television and spending time with her loved ones whenever possible. Pat had a kind heart and a loving soul and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Diana Watts of Nahunta, GA; a son, Thomas Dinkins (Peggy) of Folkston, GA; her son, Devon Dinkins of Folkston, GA; a daughter, Brenda Watts of Hortense, GA; her son, Marvin Dinkins of Folkston, GA, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Cecile Thompson, her husband, Earl Dinkins, her daughter, Debra Cone, and her son-in-law, Charles Watts. A private graveside service will be held with family at Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery in Folkston, GA in the coming days.
