Patricia Taylor Sikes

God has taken Patricia Ann Taylor Sikes, 68, of Nahunta, from this earth, which is our temporary home and transported her to her real home for eternity.

Born in Alma, GA., her parents were Jim Ledley Taylor and Mary Lee Gray Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Arnold Folker; her second husband, Leon "John" Edward Sikes, Jr.; and a son, Infant Taylor.

Patricia was a beautiful, devoted, and loving wife and mom who dedicated her life to taking care of her children and family. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and loved the Satilla River.

Survivors include her four loving children and their spouses, Charles "Chuck" Folker, Jr. (Hope), of Ocilla, GA, Sharon Folker Bernardo (Anthony), of Forsyth, Iona Sikes Short, of Nahunta, and LeAnn Sikes Herdman (William), of Ludowici; fifteen grandchildren, Kayla Marie Caudill, Abigail Grace Bernardo, Cali Grace Folker, Keegan David Folker, Mackenzie Satilla Aldridge, Gabe Sikes Aldridge, Taylor Sage Aldridge, Caden Shane Aldridge, Sophia Isabelle Short, Vivien Willow Short, ShyAnne Searra Herdman, William Austin Herdman, Roxianne Janell Herdman, Cassidy Louise Herdman, and Kimberly Shawn Herdman; one brother, Billy Taylor, of Alma; two sisters, Mary Hurst, of Brunswick, and Gloria Jean Simmons, of Jacksonville. Also many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A private memorial service will be held.
