Patsy Ann Allen

Hortense – Patsy Ann Reynolds Allen, 82, of Hortense passed away Tuesday (June 25, 2024) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Meadows of Dan, VA her parents were Robert L. Reynolds and Lila J Light Reynolds. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Aubrey Allen; all her siblings leaving her the last sibling of the Reynolds family.

Patsy was a homemaker and a member of Raybon Advant Church. She loved baking, cooking, gardening and watching tv.

Survivors include her 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Ronda Owens (Steve) of St. Simons, GA and Shearl Harvey of Hortense; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles Posey (Heather) Mabel, AL; 6 grandchildren, Carlee Owens, Samuel Posey, Kyle Posey, Courtney Major, Haley Griffith, and Ashley Hill; 8 great grandchildren; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service on Saturday (June 29, 2024) from 10:30am -11am.

A funeral service will be held Saturday morning (June 29, 2024) at 11am at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Bro. David Herrin and Rev. Hilton Morgan officiating. A private burial will be in Lake Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
