Paul Lee Spoonamore

Waynesville – Paul Lee Spoonamore, 75, of Waynesville passed away Tuesday morning (February 6, 2018) at Hospice of the Golden Isles after an extended illness.

Born in Cincinnati, OH his parents were Ebbie and Florence Hayes Spoonamore. He is also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Ronnie Bagley; and a brother-in-law, Newlin Brewer.

Paul was retired from homeland security and served in the United States Navy for 23 years. He was a member of Bay Harbor Brantley and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Myrna Spoonamore of Waynesville; a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky & Ginny Anglin of LaGrange, GA; 3 daughters and a son-in-law, Debbie Bagley of Hortense, Penny & James Smith of Brunswick, and Tami Spoonamore of OH; 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Ebbie Spoonamore of VA; a sister, Beth Brewer of OH; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Saturday afternoon (February 10, 2018) from 3-4PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon (February 10, 2018) at 4PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Gill officiating.

The family will be receiving friends at Myrna Spoonamore’s residence at 6857 Browntown Rd Waynesville, GA 31566.
