Philip Raeder House, 64 of Augusta, GA., passed away Wednesday (March 9, 2016) at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, in Augusta, following an extended illness.
Born in Killean, TX., his parents are the late Jeremiah “Jerry” House and Isla Herrin Roberson, of Waycross. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jeremiah Kurt House; his maternal grandparents, Owen K. Herrin, Sr. and Leone Kaney Herrin.
Philip was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed listening to music, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his mother, Isla Herrin Roberson, of Waycross; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Gary House, of St. Simons Island, and Gavin Roberson (Anna), of Manchester, GA.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dianne Strickland (Silas), of Texas, and Ambia Kicklighter, of Waycross. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Saturday evening (March 12, 2016) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
A Funeral Service will be held Sunday afternoon (March 13, 2016) at 2PM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Ion Johns and Rev. E.C. Crews officiating.
Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Cleland, Glenn Hendrix, Jimbo Jones, Larry Johns, Jack Wilson, and J.R. Herrin.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
