Phillip Arthur Freund

Nahunta - Phillip Arthur Freund, 59, of Nahunta died Saturday morning (March 21, 2015) at Southeast GA Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness. Born in Kittery, ME his parents were William and Mary Elizabeth Brightwell Freund. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Lynn Hilliard Freund. Phillip was a landscaper and a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church. He loved fishing, listening to classical music and being outdoors. Survivors include his 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry & Rhonda Freund of Nahunta, William & Elsie Freund of Pittsburg, PA and Edgar & Sue Freund of Woodbine; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. A funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon (March 25, 2015) at 1PM at St. Marks Episcopal Church in Woodbine with Father John Pearce officiating. Burial will follow in Homeward Cemetery in Waverly. Pallbearers will be Larry Freund, William Freund, Edgar Freund, Jim Proctor, Tommy Box, & Wendall Thigpen.
