Hoboken -Phyllis Annette Lane Walker, 48, of Hoboken passed away Saturday morning (January 14, 2017) at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick after an extended illness.
Born in Jesup, GA her mother was Carrie Mae Dubose Lane. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Lane; and a nephew, Devin Lane.
Phyllis was a homemaker and a member of Bachlott Church of God. She loved spending time with her family and her dog, “Coco”, being outdoors, working in her flowers, going to the beach, decorating, and dressing up for all occasions.
Survivors include her son, Kyler Walker of Hoboken; a daughter and son-in-law, Carrie & Daniel Thompson of Blackshear; a grandson, Greyson Thompson of Blackshear; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, James Lane and Weldon and Teresa Lane all of Blackshear; a sister and brother-in-law, Lesley & Belton Hanchey of Hoboken; aunts and uncles, Claudie & Thomas Lanier of Nahunta and Donald Lane of Hawaii; 3 nieces, Crissy Thomas, Caylie Hanchey, and Alexis Lane; 4 nephews, Jimmy Lane, Weldon Lane, Jr., Ryan Lane, and Jared Lane; and also several other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday afternoon (January 18, 2017) at 2pm at Hoboken Cemetery with Pastor Phillip Cochran officiating.
Visitation will be held Wednesday afternoon (January 18, 2017) from 1:30pm – 2pm at Hoboken Cemetery.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
