Ralph Frank Dial

Ralph Frank Dial, 67 of Hortense passed away Monday (June 19, 2017) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, GA.

Born in Miami, FL., his parents were Benjamin Hope Dial and Ann Ellen Powers Dial.

Ralph retired from the United States Navy. He worked many years in Maintenance for Federal Reserve Bank. He enjoyed being a dad, fishing, helping people, and loved the Florida Keys.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Burgess Dial, of Hortense; his son, Christopher Dial, of Hortense; his daughter, Laurie Dial Perez, also of Hortense; a special niece, Kim Reed; 5 grandchildren, Dustin Dial, of Athens, Emily Dial, of Hoboken, Drake Nettles, Rydal, GA, Dominik Perez, of Kennesaw, and Aaron Cerda; a brother, Billy Moore, of Big Pine Key, FL.; 1 great grandchild, Ashton Cavagnaro; 3 sisters, Anita Holroyd, of Big Pine, FL, Emma Pivowar, of Jesup, GA, and Dolly Thornton, of Hazlehurst; best friends, Dennis and Carolyn Setser, of Blue Ridge, GA. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial service with Military honors will be held Saturday evening (June 24, 2017) at 6PM at Under His Wings Christian Fellowship with Rev. Chad Middleton officiating
