Randy Eugene Rhoden

Nahunta- Randy Eugene Rhoden, 51, of Nahunta died peacefully Sunday morning (July 15, 2012) at the Hospice of the Golden Isles after an extended illness. Born in Blackshear, GA his parents are Dorothy Allbritton Rhoden and the late Larry Lamar Rhoden, Jr.. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Millie Esser Rhoden; 3 brothers, Lamar, Larry and Harry Rhoden. Randy was a member of Nahunta Church of God who loved the Lord with all of his heart. He was a blessing to everyone he came in contact with and touched a lot of people's hearts. Also he loved to do yard work, hunting and fishing. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy "Dot" Allbritton Rhoden of Nahunta; 3 children, Debbie DeDea (Doug) of Altalona, CA, Richard L. Thomas of Great Falls, MT and Paul G. Thomas of NY; a granddaughter, Kelsey M. DeDea; a special friend, George Drury; his favorite CNA, Christine Felix; and also several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening (July 17, 2012) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Wednesday morning (July 18, 2012)at 11AM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Florey and Rev. Jimmy Mathis officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Hickox. Pallbearers will be David Allbritton, Mikel Ray Johns, Charles Chancey, Wesley Allbritton, Jimmy Mathis, and Lyn Graham. Honorary pallbearers will be Clifton Mathis and the Senior Care Center. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.fryefh.com.
