Randy Lloyd Johns

Randy Lloyd Johns, 40, of Waycross, passed away suddenly Sunday (June 18, 2023).

Born in Waycross, GA., his parents are Lloyd Randall “Buddy” Johns and Rhonda Shiver Johns, of Waycross. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, James Shiver and Linda Bennett; paternal grandparents, Robert Johns and Wilma Martin.

Randy worked many years as a Heavy Equipment Operator and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding the tractor and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Hicks Johns, of Hickox; two sons, Zachary Johns and Randy Luke Johns, both of Hickox; a daughter and son-in-law, Taylor Johns (Jay McKenzie), of Waycross; two grandchildren, Wesley McKenzie and Paisley McKenzie, both of Waycross; his parents, Buddy and Rhonda Johns, of Waycross; his sister and brother-in-law, Brittany Sherrod (David), of Waycross; niece, Marlei Sherrod, of Waycross; and a nephew, Ethan Sherrod, also of Waycross.

Visitation will be held Friday evening (June 23, 2023) from 5PM-7PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home.
