Rebecca Jean Harris-Deal

Callahan, FL – Rebecca “Becky” Jean Harris-Deal, 49, of Callahan passed away Wednesday (November 13, 2024) at her residence after a brief illness.

Born in Waycross, GA her parents are Leonard Harris and the late Sylvia Manders Harris. She is also preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Joseph Harris; and maternal grandfather, Eugene Manders.

Becky was a RN for UF Health Hospital and attended Buford Grove Baptist Church. She was an avid bow hunter who loved fishing in their pond, riding 4-wheelers and spending time with Chuck (the boy).

Survivors include her husband, Lindon Deal of Callahan; her father, Leonard Harris of Nahunta; her brother, Preston Harris of Nahunta; her sister and brother-in-law, Rachel Restrepo (Bernard) of Nahunta; her paternal grandmother, Iva Harris; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Saturday (November 16, 2024) starting at 10am at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Saturday morning (November 16, 2024) at 11am at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. David Farrior officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Drew Harris, Christopher Harris, Noah Restrepo, Justin Deal, David Benjamin, and Devin Harris.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
