Richard "Ricky" Harold Nowell, 53, of Woodbine Ga, former Owner and operator of Now-Co Construction, crossed Our Saviours finish line on Jan. 30, 2019, after a courageous battle with Cancer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Rowan Siniard and sister, Rhonda Jean Lord.
Born on April 5, 1965 in Marietta, Ga. Ricky enjoyed many things in his life, number one being the love of racing. He always wanted to go fast and play around with cars. As a young man he loved putting together model cars. He built, owned, and drove a racecar at Golden Isles Raceway and in Waycross, Ga., his car was #24. He was also crew chief for his good friend Rick Post's #72 Superstreet Camaro. Also as a young man he tinkered in wood work & wood burning. He had great skills as a Carpenter. He could build almost anything from nothing. Whether it be a house or a custom porch and stairs, he done it with pride and precision. He also enjoyed detailing his cars and shining the chrome on the motorcycle. Here recently he was learning how to operate drones & model airplanes. Sometimes Ricky was a hard man to love, that just made us love him more.
