Riley Haywood Blount

Nahunta – Riley Haywood Blount, 20 months old, passed away Wednesday morning (May 22,2019) at Satilla Memorial Health in Waycross after a brief illness.

Born in Brunswick, GA his parents are Stephen Blount and Danielle Nichole Capps both of Nahunta.

Riley was a mama’s boy who was full of life and loved dancing to music.

He is survived by his mother, Danielle Capps of Nahunta; his father, Stephen Blount of Nahunta; a brother, Gage Blount of Nahunta; a sister, Trinity Capps of Nahunta; maternal grandparents, Tracy & Thomas James of Nahunta; paternal grandparents, Carlos Blount of Nahunta and Wanda Harris of Hoboken; maternal great grandfather, William H. Capps of Jacksonville, FL; 2 uncles, Nathan James and Christian James of Nahunta; 2 aunts, April Blount and Amber Blount of Nahunta; and also several cousins and other relatives.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Saturday morning (May 25, 2019) from 10am – 11am at Frye Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday morning (May 25, 2019) at 11am at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Florey officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
