Robert 'Bobby' Thomas

Waverly- Robert D. “Bobby” Thomas, went home to be with the Lord and his beloved wife Carolyn on July 30, 2019. He was a lifelong resident of Waverly, GA. He loved to fish, play guitar, and drive his Chevy Belair around everywhere.

He is survived by his two daughters, Angee Gainey of Myrtle Beach, SC., and Robyn Douglas of Waverly, GA; 8 grandchildren, Jamey Thomas of Myrtle Beach, SC., Tim Williams of Waverly, GA., Brock Williams of Myrtle Beach SC., Devon Thomas of Jacksonville, FL., Dayne Miller of Jacksonville, FL., Julie Raines of Myrtle Beach, SC., Bubba Gainey of Waverly, GA., and Seth Thomas of Waverly, GA.; his brother, Jimmy Thomas of Orange Park, FL.; 8 great grandchildren; Also several other family members and dear friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday (August 2, 2019) at 12PM at Horsestamp Methodist Church with Pastor Doug Goode officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at the church.

Burial will follow in Horsestamp Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jamey Thomas, Tim Williams, Brock Williams, Devon Thomas, David Gay, and Bubba Gainey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ervin Raines and Dayne Miller.

Family and pallbearers are asked to meet at the Church by 11:30AM Friday.
