Robert Dale Anderson

Waynesville – Robert Dale Anderson, 60, passed away Thursday morning (April 11, 2019) at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Birmingham, AL his parents were Robert Jay Anderson and Madge Imogene Tanner Anderson. He is also preceded in death by 2 brothers-in-law, Curtis Thomas and Charles Thomas, Jr.

Robert was a retired Staff Sergeant in the United States Marines Corp and a member of Waynesville Baptist Church. He loved going to Bible studies and watching religious programs.

Survivors include his wife, Tina T. Anderson of Waynesville; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Christina & Mike Nettles of Jesup and Brandy & Charles Stokes of Waynesville; 4 grandchildren, Robert Anderson of Jesup, Paige Elaine Boysen of Jesup, Brandon Thomas of Oklahoma, and T.J. Thomas of Brunswick; one great grandchild on the way; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald & Cathy Anderson of Alabama; a sister and brother-in-law, Angela & Glynn Forbus of Alabama; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held Monday morning (April 15, 2019) at 11am at Waynesville Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Carr officiating.
