Robert Lee "Bobby" Usher, Jr., 56, of Waynesville died Tuesday night (June 15, 2010) at his residence after and extended illness. Born in Aiken, South Carolina his parents are Robert Lee Usher Sr. and the late Annie Ruth Smith Usher. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Bo Usher and two sisters, Penny Holmes and Lena Ward. Bobby had worked in the past for Smith & Son's concrete and was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Brunswick. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with all his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Rolanda Martin Usher of Waynesville; 4 children and a son-in-law, Stacy Fonseca, Robert Lee Usher, III, Ruth & R.J. Ezro and Billy Ray Usher all of Brunswick; 6 grandchildren, Christine Westall, Tony Usher, Jasmine Fonseca, Sarah Westall, Ysabel Fonseca and Raven Ezro; his father, Robert Lee Usher, Sr. of Waynesville; a brother, Willie Usher of Waynesville; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Claudia & Richard Weese of Waynesville, Peggy & Jr. Ward of Hortense and Myrle & Jack Hill of Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. A Memorial service will be held Saturday morning (June 19, 2010) at 10:00 A.M. at The Salvation Army Church on Union St. in Brunswick with Capt. Glenn Queener officiating.
