Robert Linton Lyons

Robert Linton Lyons, 55, of Blackshear died Friday morning (May 8, 2009) at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah after an extended illness. Born in Brantley, Co. his parents are the late Jessie Lynes and Maybell Arnold Lynes, of Waynesville. He worker for Coastal Decorators as a painter and was a member of Lulaton Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Donna Lyons of Blackshear; his mother, Maybell Lynes of Waynesville; 7 Siblings and their spouses, Darlene & Carroll Moody, Gail & James Shuman both of Hortense, James & Bobbie Lyons of Beeville, TX, John & Lois Lyons of Blackshear, JoAnn & Martin Copeland of Sarasota, FL, Pam & Mac Cook of Hickox and Denise & Erwin Skipper of Hortense; also several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & other relatives. Visitation will be held Monday evening (May 11, 2009) starting at 6:00PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta, GA. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon (May 12, 2009) at 2:00PM at Lulaton Baptist Church with Rev. Monroe Gill officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in the Knox Cemetery.
