Robert Turman, Sr.

Brunswick- Robert Lamore Turman Sr., 71 of Brunswick died Thursday afternoon (December 29, 2011) at South East Georgia Health System following an extended illness. Born in Graymount, GA, his parents were Lamore and Eva Dell Corbitt Turman. He is also preceded in death by his brother, John "Pete" Turman. Robert was a musician for many years, he loved his music and singing, he loved his family and grandchildren, and he also loved his animals. He was of the Christian Faith. Survivors include his loving wife of many years, Patricia Dianne Turman, of Brunswick; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Lamore "Bobby" Jr. and Miranda Turman, 3 grandchildren; Tristen, Trinity, and Gabriel, all of Brunswick. Also several close family and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6-8PM (December 31, 2011) at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A memorial service will be held Monday afternoon from 4-6PM (January 2, 2012) at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta with Rev. Jim Dirst officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
