Ronald Edmond Williams, 75 of Hoboken, GA., passed away Saturday (October 10, 2015) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross, GA., following an extended illness. Born in Robinson, IL., his parents were Garold Williams and Mary Helen Beard Williams. He worked many years as a truckdriver for Thom's Trucking. He loved cars, working in the yard, and was a member of Crawford Street Baptist Church of Waycross. Mr. Williams also served in the United States Army. Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Shirley Williams, of Hoboken; a son and daughter-in-law, Todd Williams (Rhonda), of Sullivan, IN.; three daughters and a son-in-law, Lisa Walls (Gary), of Merom, IN., Lori Williams, of Sullivan, IN, and Moriah Williams, of Atlanta, GA.; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Ruby Sharon Stanifer (Everett), of Panama City, FL. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Tuesday (October 13, 2015) from 6PM-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday (October 14, 2015) at 11AM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Rowell and Pastor Larry E. Ray officiating. Burial will follow in High Bluff Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Williams, Michael Williams, Vernon Fort, Todd Williams, and Everett Stanifer. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
