Ronald Hinton West

Ronald Hinton West, 67 of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday (February 14, 2018) at Southeast GA Health System following an extended illness.

Born in Brunswick, GA., his parents were Charlie Andrew West and Trellis Johnson West. He was also preceded in death by his grandchild, Devon Haney; and a brother, Jackie West.

Ronald served in the United States Army as a mechanic and worked as a painter for many years for Triangle T and D & D Decorators. He enjoyed fishing, painting, automotive, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his fiancé, Ila “Sue” Daniels, of Brunswick; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Cory and Christina Green, of Jasper, GA, and Jessie Wayne Peterson, of N.C.; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Tammy Haney, of Brunswick, and Rhonda and Jason Daniels, of Waverly; 12 grandchildren, Curtis West , Andrew Sessions, Maegan Sessions, Jade Daniels, Xander Daniels, Sebastian Daniels, and Cheyenne Daniels, Amelia Green, Eli Haney, Dixie Lynn Peterson, Remington Peterson, and Mia Peterson; 2 great grandchildren on the way, one who will be named Ronald Hinton West, II.; a brother, Charles West, of Jesup, GA; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Joanne Payne, of Darien, and Debra and Donnie Scott, of Brunswick. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

A Graveside service will be held Monday (February 19, 2018) at 1PM at Horse Stamp Cemetery with his uncle, Rev. Hinton Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Xander Daniels, Sabastian Daniels, Dillian Cribbs, James Loper, and Thomas Haney.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Sessions and Curtis West.

Family and Pallbearers are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:30PM.

Family will be receiving friends at the Residence of Rhonda and Jason Daniels; 264 Deerwood Creek Estates Rd. Waverly, GA. 31565.
