Waynesville- Ronald Scot Day, 55, of Waynesville died suddenly Saturday night (July 27, 2013) at his residence after a brief illness. Born in Enterprise, AL his parents were Emil R. & Lillian D. Pinny Day. Ronald was an AC Tech for Boatright AC and served in the United States Marines Corp. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and wood carving. Also he was very creative and just enjoyed life. Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Karen & Buddy Harris of Raybon; half-sister, Susan Johnson of Ohio; a niece and 2 nephews, Karen "RieRie" Johnson(Shawn), John Kelly and Donald Kelly; a special great niece and 2 special great nephews, Elizabeth Johnson, Joshua Johnson and Matthew Johnson. Memorialization will be by cremation. No services will be held. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.fryefh.com
