Ronnie D. O'Quinn

Nahunta-Ronnie David O'Quinn, 72 of Nahunta, passed away Tuesday evening (July 15, 2014) at his residence following an extended illness. Born in Folkston, GA ., his parents were James David O'Quinn and Lucille Nancy Crews O'Quinn. Ronnie worked at Gilman Paper Company for 47 years. He attended Winokur Baptist Church and loved collecting antiques, fishing, hunting, yard sale, and flea marketing. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Greg O'Quinn (Amanda), of Nahunta; a daughter and son-in-law, Chanda Nelson (Brian), of Hilliard, FL; 6 grandchildren, Ronnie & Travis O'Quinn, Haley & Nolan Nelson, Christopher Corbitt, and Hailey Farmer; 2 great grandchildren, Kyler O'Quinn and Waylon O'Quinn; 3 sisters, Donnie Chesser (Joe Lester), of Folkston, Joann Madison, of California, and Connie Cornette, of Folkston; and a brother and Sister-in-law, Charles O'Quinn (Wanda), of Folkston. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral Services will be held Saturday (July 19, 2014) at 12PM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Thrift officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Bachlott Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Chesser, Jeffery O'Quinn, Andrew Chesser, Brian Nelson, Billy Moore, and Bobby Bryant. Honorary pallbearers will be Jill Brand, Melissa Koch, and Sherry Rowell.
