Rose Gwendolyn Morgan

Rose Gwendolyn Morgan, 61, of Nahunta died Friday morning (November 12, 2010) at her residence after an extended illness. Born in Nahunta her parent were Willie W. & Lora "Toots" Morgan. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Denny Rhoden; a daughter, Denise Rhoden Horbacz and a granddaughter, Juliette Nicole Kennedy. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren and family. Survivors include her son, Lee Darren Rhoden of Nahunta; 6 grandchildren, India Kennedy of Brunswick, Christopher Kennedy of Waynesville, Deni Jewel Rhoden of Brunswick, Ashley Dukes, Gordie Dukes and Cricket Goodbread all of Brunswick; beloved companion for 24 years, Arnie Morgan of Nahunta; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Willie "Billy" Morgan of Waynesville and Barry & Linda Morgan of Blackshear; 4 sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy & Clarence Mobley of Brunswick, Gloria Dale & Don Hinkle of Waynesville, Wanda & Lindsey Smith of Barnesville, GA and Wilma & Wade Bullard of Port Saint Lucie, FL; also many much loved nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Saturday evening (November 13, 2010) starting at 6 PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon (November 14, 2010) at 2 PM at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Lewis and Rev. Lanis Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Rob Lewis Cemetery. Pallbearers were Brantley Smith, Lindsey Smith, Allen Morgan, Allen Smith, C.J. Roberson and Dodge Roberson. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Chitty, Dr. Levy and Associates, and Staff of Southeast Georgia Health System. Arrangement are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
