Ruby Ernestine Keene

Ruby Ernestine Howard Keene, 92, of Orlando, Fl., passed away Friday (January 1, 2016) at Winter Park Care and Rehab Center, in Winter Park, FL. after an extended illness.

She was born in Bryceville, Fl. And was the daughter of the Britian Paul and Eva Lee Williams Howard.

Ruby was also preceded by her husband Alvin Keene, a daughter, Betty Knouse, her granddaughter, Brenda Lorraine Sundberg and 2 brothers, Victor Clayton Howard and Eler Howard.

Mrs. Keene was a waitress and a member of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church. She loved quilting and entertainment.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Walter Sundberg, of Orlando, Fl, a son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie Franklin and Debra Higginbotham, of Deland, Fl. 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held 12 :00 to 1:00 P.M. Monday (Jan. 4, 2016) at Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta, GA..

Graveside services will be held Monday afternoon (Jan. 4, 2016) at 1:30 P.M with Elder Alvin Johnson officiating at The Smyrna Cemetery
