Ruth Moody

Nahunta-Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Robinson Moody, 91 of Nahunta, passed away Wednesday (November 5, 2014) at her residence. Born in Cogdel, GA., her parents were Marvin Hobson Robinson and Elizabeth Leone Merritt Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Cecil Moody; and a brother, Clinton Robinson. Mrs. Ruth worked many years with her husband as owner and operator of Cecil Moody Furniture Store in Nahunta. She was a member of DAR, Nahunta Garden Club, and Cub Scout Leader.Mrs. Ruth also served as interim manager of REA. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dan Moody (Denise), of Nahunta; a daughter, Nancy Moody King, of Nahunta; 3 grandchildren, Lea King Badyna (Bud), Lauren King Bolin (Jason), and Zane Moody; 2 great grandchildren, Aden Bolin and Azlan Bolin. Visitation will be held Friday evening (November 7, 2014) from 6PM-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday morning (November 8, 2014) at 10AM at Frye Funeral Home with Lea King Badyna, Lauren Bolin, Dan Smith, and Kathy Bradley speaking.
