Offerman-Sarah Elizabeth "Beth" Spikes Odum, 29 of Offerman, passed away Monday night (October 29, 2012) following injuries sustained in an accident. Born in Waycross, GA., her parents are Frances Crews-Hopton and the late Curtis Crews. She is preceded in death by 2 fathers, Curtis Crews and Mark Bennett; her mother-in-law, Amelia Odum; her grandfather-in-law, Travis Zeke Odum; maternal grandfather, Bobby Spikes; maternal grandmother, Sarah Justice; and a nephew, Tye Crews. Sarah was a homemaker and attended Assembly of God in Patterson. She loved taking pictures, writing poems, baking, spending time with her kids, hanging out at the river with friends. She truly loved her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Travis Mikell Odum, of Offerman; her 3 children, Weston, Emilee, and Evan Odum; her mother and step-father, Frances Crews-Hopton and Duane Hopton, of Hoboken;father-in-law,Mikell Odum of Offerman; grandmother-in-law, Pauline Gill, of Offerman; grandmother-in-law, Annette Odum, of Offerman; a brother and his fiancé, John Crews and fiancé Whitney, of Waycross; half-brother, Patrick Cartwright, of Hoboken; a step-brother, Stacey Crews; a sister, Kristy Crews, of Hoboken; 2 step-sisters, Cynthia Jewell, of Hoboken, Lisa and Joey Gill, of Waycross; a brother-in-law, Trevor Odum, of Reidsville; and a special friend, Britna Lowman.Also several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday evening (November 2, 2012) at 6 PM, at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Graveside service will be held Saturday afternoon (November 3, 2012) at 3 PM at Hoboken Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Johnson and Mr. Randall Crawford. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
