Shanakaye Dianne Lee

Nahunta – Shanakaye Dianne Lee, 48, of Nahunta passed away early Saturday morning (January 4, 2020) at her sister’s residence after an extended illness.

Born in Waycross, GA her parents were Willie Lee and Barbara “Lorraine” Conner Lee.

Shanakaye was a CNA for Lifecare Centers of America and a member of Winokur Baptist Church. She loved cooking, baking, singing, music, and taking pictures.

Survivors include her 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Karen & Daryl Hand and Carla Kim Lee all of Nahunta; a brother, Brian Lee of Deltona, FL; a nephew, Travis Hand (Tracie); 3 nieces, Chelsea Hand, Katie Shoemaker and Shelby Moore; and also several other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to her memorial service on Monday (January 6, 2020) starting at 5:30PM at Winokur Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held Monday evening (January 6, 2020) at 6:30PM at Winokur Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Giddens officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Frye Funeral Home to offset funeral cost.
