Sheryl Raye Griffin Lemuz

Folkston- Sheryl Raye Griffin Lemuz, 55 of Folkston, passed away Monday (May 29, 2023) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross.

Born in Waycross, GA her parents were the late Ray Griffin and Sheryl Dianne Crews Griffin. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Elizabeth Miller.

Sheryl was a homemaker and a member of Winokur Baptist Church. She enjoyed, singing, dancing, listening to music and loved the beach and having a good time.

Survivors include her husband, Matias Lumez Gonzalez, of Folkston; her son and daughter-in-law, William Eugene Crews (Christina), of Racepond; daughter and son-in-law, Angie Diane Crews (Chris), of Nahunta; 5 grandchildren, Kyle, Lanie, Dawson, Brett and Harley Crews; brother and sister-in-law, Terry Griffin (Melissa), of Folkston; sister, Dawn Rebollo, also of Folkston; special nieces, Amber and Lacy Brown; special nephew, Chase Miller; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday (June 1, 2023) from 6PM-9PM at Riverside Chapel Baptist Church.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
