Shirley Mae Baxley

Mrs. Shirley Mae Hill Baxley,69,of the Atkinson Community died early Saturday morning (Apr. 11,2009) at her sons residence with her family by her side. Born in Blounts Town, Florida. Ms. Shirley was of the Christian faith, a loving Mother, she had worked with her husband as a commercial fisher and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Preceded by her Parents , a sister, Merle Hill, 2-brothers, Tommy and Buster Hill. Survived by her 3-sons and daughters-in-law, Jackie "Mickey" and Brenda Baxley, of Waynesville, David and Frances Baxley, of Atkinson and Timmy Baxley, of Waynesville, 2-Grandchildren, Heather Baxley and Callie Wooten (Trey), 1-Great-Grandchild, Trace Wooten, a sister, Martha Lee, of Blountstown, Florida, also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12-2 P.M. at the funeral home. Services will be held Tuesday (Apr. 14, 2009) at 2 P.M. in the Frye Funeral Home (Formerly Chambless-Frye) Chapel.
