Sonya Renee Hendricks Thomas

Waynesville-Mrs. Sonya Renee Hendricks Thomas,47, of Waynesville died Thursday afternoon (Nov. 17, 2016) from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Brunswick, Georgia her parents were Samuel “Tommy” Thomas Hendricks, Jr. and Geraldine “Gerry” Barnard Hendricks.

Sonya was a homemaker and had attended Waynesville Church of God. She loved working in her yards and gardens. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed her time with her family.

Survived by her husband, Donnie “Scott” Thomas, of Waynesville, her son and daughter-in-law, Joshua Scott and Kayla Thomas, of Hickox, a brother and sister-in-law, Robert “Keith “and Amy Hendricks, of Waynesville, also several cousins and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
