Stella Rowell Jowers

Stella Luciene Rowell Jowers, 66, passed away Thursday (November 4, 2021) following an extended illness.
Born in Brunswick, GA., her parents were John Henry Rowell and Uldine Mae Stowers Rowell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wayne Jowers; her brother, Johnnie Rowell; and her sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn Haigler (Bill).
Stella was the owner of Augusta Coding and Transcription. She bred show-quality Boston Terriers for many years. She loved gardening and camping in her motor home and she really was a “Jack of all Trades”. Stella was a lively and beautiful lady and loved by all who knew her.
Survivors include her stepchildren, Larry D. Jowers (Cathy), of Batesburg, SC., Donald W. Jowers, Jr. (Michelle), of Appling, GA., Chris Jowers (Shannon), of Warrenville, SC., and Cathy Lee Durham (Thomas), of Graniteville, SC.; brother and sister-in-law, Kelvin Rowell (Georgeane), of Hephzibah, GA.; close friend and business partner, Sue Trivelpiece; good friends, Linda Martin, Sandy Friend, Brenda Sylerca and many others. Also several step grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday evening (November 8, 2021) from 6PM-8PM at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC 29829.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday morning (November 9, 2021) at 11AM at Hatcher Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday (November 10, 2021) at 2PM at Rob Lewis Cemetery.
