Tammie Renee Manning

Nahunta- Mrs. Tammie Renee Manning , 42, of Nahunta died suddenly Wednesday morning (May 25, 2011) at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup. Born in Jesup, GA her parents are Jack Collins and Elaine Young Thornton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Manning, Sr.; a son, Aaron Manning; her papa, Richard Thornton and a sister, Stacey Harrison. Tammie was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include 2 sons, Gary Manning of Belmont, NC and Dustin Manning of Jesup; father and stepmother, Jack & Betty Collins of Dawson, GA; mother, Elaine Thornton of Nahunta; brother and sister-in-law, Richard & Dennette Thornton of Atlanta; a stepbrother, Brian Thornton of Raybon; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Saturday evening (May 28, 2011) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon (May 29, 2011) at 2PM at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Johns, Rev. Charles Manning and Rev. Wayne Manning officiating. Burial will follow in Manningtown Cemetery in Jesup, GA. Pallbearers will be A.J. Hendrix, James Brockington, Marvin Lowman, Rhett Roberson, Jesse Wainright, Devon Johns and Derwin Lewis.
