Tanya Willis Causey

Hortense- Tanya Willis Causey, 46 of Hortense, passed away suddenly Saturday evening (November 2, 2019).

Born in Jesup, GA., her parents are James B. Willis and the late Wanda Douberly Willis. Along with her mother she was preceded in death by her grandparents, several aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

Tanya attended Raybon Church of God of Prophecy. She worked as a Real Estate Agent for Coldwell Banker. Tanya loved her son, traveling, her animals, going to the beach, and experiencing other cultures. She also loved being involved with the community.

Survivors include her son, Chandler Causey, of Hortense; her father, James B. Willis (Mabel Blocker), of Hortense; her sister and her fiancé, Nykki Smith (Dean Hendrix), of Hickox; nieces and nephews, Kyle Smith (Bhavika), of Hickory Bluff, Jeremy Green, Adam Green, Maylin and Jermaine Nixon, and Brandon and Kelly Evans; two great nephews, Lincoln Evans and Keighan Nixon. Also several other relatives and close friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday (November 10, 2019) at 2PM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Rhoden officiating. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service, from 1:30PM to 2PM.
