Teresa Jewel Simmons

Teresa Jewel Simmons went home to the Lord on September 18, 2017, after a short battle with cancer.

She was born May 31, 1956, to Jean K. Simmons and the late William O. Simmons. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jack and Jewel Simmons; her maternal grandparents, Hollis and Frances Gibson.
She was a 1974 graduate of Brunswick High School, and a member of King Memorial Baptist Church, GA.

Survivors include her mother, Jean K. Simmons, of Waynesville; sister and brother-in-law, Donna Lockhart (Don), of Brunswick; brother and sister-in-law, Billy Simmons (Peggy), of Brunswick, GA; also several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Teri’s life will be held Thursday (September 21, 2017) at 1PM at King Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Rowell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to King Memorial Baptist Church at 3715 Old Highway 259, Waynesville, GA., 31566, or charity of donor’s choice.
