Thomas James Hall, Jr.

Hortense- Thomas James Hall, Jr., 57, of Hortense died suddenly Saturday morning (January 25, 2014) at his residence. Born in Orange Park, FL his parents were Thomas James and Laverne Wise Hall, Sr. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Edward Hall; and a sister, Tommie Ruth Patten. Thomas was a custodian for Glynn County School System and of the Baptist faith. Also he loved home life, his family, cooking and watching NASCAR. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Jean Cone Hall of Hortense; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas James & Christina Hall, III; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Lajanna & Kenneth Wood of Brunswick and Angela Hall (Matthew Griffin) of Baxley; 5 grandchildren, Amber Wood, Kenny Wood, Heather Christian, Erin Jade Berryhill, and Natalie Thomas; 3 great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Wanda Gail & Bobby Ray Allen of Sardis, GA; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening (January 29, 2014) from 6-9PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Memorialization will be by cremation. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home.
