Forsyth – Timothy “Timmy” Homer Cleland, 57, of Forsyth passed away Thursday evening (November 16, 2017) in Waynesville after an extended illness.
Born in Waycross, GA his parents were Wannis Cleland and Jean Carol Sowell Strickland.
Timmy was a sand blaster and enjoyed painting, being a mechanic, and motor cycles.
Survivors include his wife, Stacy Cleland of Forsyth; a son, Timothy Levi Cleland of Arkansas; a step son and his spouse, Ricky Lee Davis (Kristy) of Waycross; 3 step daughters and their spouses, Tammy Dykes (Dillon) of Hoboken, Shelly Davis of Waynesville, and Candace Jeter of Warner Robins; 11 grandchildren; his twin sister and her spouse, Tammy Crews (Stacy) of Raybon; 4 brothers and their spouses, Tony Cleland (Joanne) of Sylvester, GA, Terry Cleland (Gail) of Hickox, Travis Cleland (Rose) of Hoboken, and Jessie Strickland (Melony) of Hickox; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held Saturday (Nov. 25,2017) at 2 P.M. at The Whosoever Church formerly Community Church 399 Ern Rd, Nahunta, GA 31553, with Rev. Leon Wilson officiating.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
